The installation of a cutting-edge commercial solar power system will help the resort transition to renewable energy, reducing their reliance on the local electricity grid and dramatically lowering their carbon footprint.

This solar energy system is designed to power key operations within the resort, including lighting, air conditioning, heating, kitchen equipment, and recreational amenities. By integrating renewable energy, Cabana Berbara will not only lower operational costs but also enhance its eco-friendly brand image, attracting environmentally conscious travelers. The project is a critical part of the resort’s broader sustainability initiative, which includes water conservation, waste reduction, and local sourcing of materials.

The solar panels used in this project are high-efficiency monocrystalline modules, selected for their ability to generate maximum power even in lower light conditions, making them ideal for coastal climates. The system includes both string inverters to convert DC power to AC power and a battery storage solution to store excess energy generated during the day for use during peak hours or cloudy days. This ensures the resort can enjoy reliable, uninterrupted power and operate sustainably 24/7.

With this solar energy installation, Cabana Berbara will also take advantage of real-time energy production monitoring and a bi-directional energy meter for net metering. This allows the resort to track its energy production and consumption in real-time and earn credits for any surplus energy sent back to the grid.
